Long Term - Travel Arrangements

To simplify the exchange procedure and ensure that your trip abroad does not involve hidden glitches, your travel details must be handled by the ESSEX approved travel agency, Tzell Park Avenue formerly Bokoff Kaplan Travel Services. They handle the arrangements for hundreds of Rotary ESSEX exchange students each year and are quite familiar with all visa and travel requirements for the Rotary Youth Exchange. This lets you focus on getting prepared for your foreign adventure!

Once accepted to the program, ESSEX requires all students to register with the Bokoff-Kaplan Travel Agency, which will immediately assign a travel counselor to you. The agency will purchase air tickets at the best rates, secure your travel visa, and alert you to all special or unusual requirements which a particular country may require. Your counselor will get all your paperwork in order and, in some cases, arrange for a travel agent to see you off from your airport. When possible, the Bokoff-Kaplan Travel Agency attempts to schedule blocks of plane seats on particular flights so you may travel abroad with other exchange students.

There is a modest fee for their services.
